Changing the image of a person in an organization requires effective ways of working with staff. The article is devoted to new modern approaches in personnel management, such as "quiet dismissal" and "quiet hiring". The main reasons for the spread of these trends are highlighted. The advantages and disadvantages of the "quiet hiring" strategy are analyzed. It is considered how to avoid the problems that have arisen and minimize personnel risks in "quiet hiring".
