THE IMPACT OF KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS AND MOTIVATION ON EMPLOYEE PRODUCTIVITY

Employee productivity is one of the main indicators of the economic efficiency of any organization. It directly depends on many factors, including motivation and key performance indicators set for each employee. Research shows that the higher the level of motivation and the adequacy of the applied performance indicators, the better the overall performance of the enterprise. The article presents the essence and types of key performance indicators that affect the level of labor productivity, examples of key performance indicators for evaluating labor productivity. The main aspects of the impact of key performance indicators on the level of labor productivity are considered. The main theories of motivation are presented, the aspects in which the relationship between motivation and labor productivity is manifested are considered. Based on the conducted research, practical steps are proposed to improve productivity based on key performance indicators and employee motivation: identification and establishment of adequate key performance indicators, interrelation of employee goals and expectations, regular monitoring and feedback, training and development, motivational measures, creation of a supportive culture, use of technology, flexible working conditions, compliance with transparency solutions.
