STATE REGULATION OF DIGITAL PLATFORMS AND ECOSYSTEMS IN COMMON LAW STATES (USING THE EXAMPLE OF THE USA)

US administration is actively structuring the appropriate institutional environment. In the context of the subject of the study, the following were collected, studied and compared: US antitrust legislation, as well as bills received in 2021-2023. to the US Congress, both from Democrats and Republicans, American analytics, expert opinions. Conclusions are drawn: about the systemic strengthening of state control in an area previously poorly regulated in comparison with the EU in the United States, about the general vector of bills, their focus on consumer protection, competition, strengthening of federal influence, and also, along with this, about the weakening of influence global digital corporations, limiting their market dominance. Thus, the systemic strengthening of regulation going on in the United States today, while realizing public interest, on the other hand, weakens companies that are American in their jurisdiction.
