The global financial architecture is undergoing a period of significant transformation, driven by changes in the geopolitical balance of power, a re-evaluation of traditional economic alliances, and a desire for greater financial sovereignty between countries. In this situation, the prospect of developing countries using the ruble in bilateral settlements becomes a topic of critical importance, promising not only to redefine trade dynamics, but also to challenge the hegemony of established reserve currencies such as the US dollar and the euro. This article analyzes the multifaceted aspects of development, taking into account the opportunities, consequences and challenges that the introduction of the ruble poses to developing countries in their international trade and financial transactions.
