The article updates the issue of the influence of factors on the functioning of payment systems and the national payment system as a whole. The risks are revealed, especially significant for payment systems. The role of the Bank of Russia in managing the risks of payment systems is described. The need to minimize the risks of payment systems to ensure the national security of the state is pointed out.
