LEGAL FOUNDATIONS AND TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF CURRENCY REGULATION AND CURRENCY CONTROL IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The Russian Federation actively conducts export and import operations, and the country is also a participant in the global market. These operations are foreign trade and are carried out using foreign currency, the movement of which in the country is regulated by the currency control system. At the same time, this system includes a set of federal, sectoral and financial legislation that tracks the flows of foreign currency assets coming into Russia and going beyond its borders. The control of the rules of currency regulation is carried out by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, which develops and establishes a policy to limit and change the mandatory volume of currency sales on the market and currency intervention. In general, currency relations are in a system of relationships regulated by foreign economic law. Therefore, the role of currency control in the Russian Federation is high and is determined by the subject of currency relations in international and domestic civil turnover. The purpose of the article is to study the development of currency regulation and currency control in the Russian Federation, as well as the legal framework that ensures control over the fulfillment and termination of obligations related to currency values.
