Currently, the stock market is developing rapidly, attracting an increasing number of investors who want to purchase securities and receive high returns from them. At the same time, despite the favorable impact of these trends on the economy as a whole, the market faces the problem of protecting participants from various kinds of fraud, as well as intense competition in the securities market, which increasingly complicates the choice of investors.
Investors place their funds in securities, in fact, being in no way protected, as a result of which the problem lies in the fact that the state regulatory mechanism does not provide an effective system for protecting investors, as a result of which many of them lose large amounts of capital, having no experience of participating in the market and are influenced by unscrupulous participants. The article examines the main issues of investor protection in the securities market from the perspective of legal regulation in modern conditions.
The purpose of the article is to determine how effectively investor protection is currently formed in the securities market and what areas are being implemented to improve it.
