THE EXPERIENCE OF FORMING AGRO-INDUSTRIAL CLUSTERS ON THE EXAMPLE OF CHINA

The study of foreign experience is an important step towards improving any economic and social processes. In the context of the study of the formation of agro-industrial clusters, the experience of China is of interest. The article examines the specifics of the experience of implementing cluster policy in the agro-industrial complex of China. According to the results of the study, the following features were identified that characterize China's experience in implementing cluster policy in the agro-industrial complex: active support from the state; significant investments in R&D in the field of agriculture, stimulating cooperation between agro-industrial enterprises and scientific institutions; active development of infrastructure, including transport networks, water supply and irrigation systems, as well as warehouse and logistics complexes; great attention to the training of qualified personnel for agriculture; orientation of cluster policy towards export, sustainable development and integrated rural development. The directions of state support for agro-industrial clusters are considered in more detail, including emphasis on supporting the expert orientation of such clusters. It was concluded that it is government support measures that contribute to creating favorable conditions for the development of agro-industrial clusters in China, increasing their efficiency and competitiveness, both in domestic and international markets.
