THE IMPACT OF DIGITALIZATION ON THE TRADITIONAL SECTORS OF THE RUSSIAN ECONOMY

The article examines the essence of the digital transformation of enterprises of traditional sectors of the economy in Russia, describes the technologies and tools of digital transformation of traditional sectors of the economy in Russia, examines the positive and negative impact of digitalization on enterprises of traditional industries in Russia. The positive aspects of such an impact included: an increase in employee productivity, a reduction in production and marketing costs, an improvement in product quality, an increase in the competitiveness of products and the entire enterprise, an improvement in the quality of management and strategic planning by management, an increase in the efficiency of the enterprise and its profit level. The negative impact of digitalization on traditional sectors of the Russian economy was attributed to: a change in the structure of employment in the labor market, an increase in the number of cyber attacks and the risk of loss of confidential information data from automated enterprise management systems. The author concludes that digitalization provides traditional industries with new opportunities for growth and development, but also requires adaptation and readiness for change. Companies that successfully integrate digital technologies can significantly increase their competitiveness in the market, which is especially important in modern conditions.
