The article considers copyright infringement in advertising as a factor discrediting legal and communicative culture in modern socio-legal society. The normative legal acts of various levels regulating copyright violations and intellectual property protection in the advertising industry are analyzed. Some recommendations regulating the protection of copyright and related rights and allowing to improve the legal and communicative culture of the population are presented. The conclusion of the work presents the conclusions and results of the study.
