PECULIARITIES OF REGULATION AND PRACTICE OF CONSTRUCTION OF ENERGY FACILITIES BY FOREIGN COMPANIES IN THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA

the article considers legislative acts of the People's Republic of China, the norms of which relate to the design, construction, modernization and operation of energy facilities by foreign companies in the territory of the People's Republic of China, and notes the importance of contractual regulation mechanisms. It is emphasized that the Chinese legal thinking is characterized by the focus on long-term cooperation in the field under study with the consolidation of the relevant arrangements and mechanisms in bilateral international treaties. A number of conclusions and proposals based on the strategic importance of the partnership between Russia and China in this area are made. In particular: 1) a promising task is to further exploit the interest of Chinese partners in attracting Russian fundamental research and development in the field of nuclear energy and other industries, which will allow to further implement new long-term cooperation projects in the design, construction, modernization and operation of energy facilities based on Russian technologies; 2) taking advantage of the opportunities provided by the PRC legislation and Chinese policy in the energy sector, it is advisable to use the following measures.
