PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE DIGITAL RUBLE IN MODERN CONDITIONS

The article discusses the concept of the digital ruble, its advantages and role in the economy and public finance, the risks and problems of introducing the digital ruble in Russia. The relevance of the study is due to the global digitalization of the economy and the development of digital currencies by central banks, which makes the introduction of the digital ruble important for Russia's competitiveness. The purpose of the work is to study and characterize the prospects for the development of the digital ruble in modern conditions, which allows us to assess its potential benefits and risks, as well as determine strategic directions for the development of the Russian financial system. Based on the results of the conducted research, some directions for solving the identified problems are proposed. These include: improvement of regulatory support in the field of control of the circulation of the digital ruble and the introduction of restrictions to solve the problems of outflow of funds from deposits of credit institutions; technology update and modernization of the digital ruble service infrastructure; training of specialists in the field of working with blockchain technology and digital financial technologies; public and private support for scientific research and innovative projects in the field of digital finance; development of strict measures (regulatory and technical aspects) to protect the personal information of users of the digital ruble; increasing the level of public confidence in the new form currencies.
