FEATURES OF THE APPLICATION OF PROCEDURAL COERCION MEASURES IN A STATE OF MARTIAL LAW

This article examines the features of applying procedural coercion measures in the context of martial law. It analyzes the issues of effectiveness and appropriateness of using various preventive measures under extraordinary circumstances. Particular attention is given to the functioning of the judicial system, the protection of the rights of suspects and defendants, as well as the organizational aspects of implementing procedural coercion measures. The necessity of prioritizing detention as the most effective preventive measure in a state of martial law is justified. The article also proposes ways to improve legislation and law enforcement practices, taking into account the specifics of the martial law regime.
