STRATEGIES AND METHODS OF OPTIMIZING MEDICAL AND SOCIAL EXPERTISE IN THE CONTEXT OF MODERN SOCIETY

This article examines the fundamental scientific and applied aspects of the problems of people with disabilities in a global context. The basis of the social protection institute is medical and social expertise, which requires continuous improvement of state expert structures to resolve complex social antinomies and conflicts in this area. The theoretical basis of the study is based on the "International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health" (ICF). The paper discusses the domains of health and well-being, their classification within the ICF, as well as the importance of taking into account environmental factors, including facilitators and barriers, in assessing an individual's functioning. Particular attention is paid to the need to develop universal and standardized methods for assessing body functions and structures, activity and participation, which will ensure data comparability and increase the effectiveness of medical and social expertise. The article emphasizes the importance of further research and integration of the aspects considered into the legal sphere and the health care system, contributing to a broader understanding of the health problem and improving the practice of medical and social expertise.
