The purpose of the article is to analyze the state of freight road transport in modern conditions. The text reflects the change in cargo delivery routes under sanctions, and also examines the position of road freight transport in relation to other modes of transport. Using the example of enterprises engaged in the transportation of goods in international traffic, the quantitative fleet of automobile enterprises in the industry is determined. The article provides statistical and analytical data on the truck market in Russia, studies the problems of replenishment and rotation of fleets of motor transport enterprises under sanctions. The information considered in the article provides an understanding of the structure of the fleet of motor vehicles in terms of the period of its use. An analysis of existing sources of financing the acquisition of motor vehicles by enterprises engaged in the transportation of goods, both in international traffic and on the domestic market, is carried out.
