The article examines the analysis of the agricultural sector of the Lipetsk region, which showed that it is one of the leading system-forming sectors of the regional economy. Compared to other regions, the region's agro-industrial complex looks more dynamic and efficient, which is facilitated by the agro-climatic potential and the availability of high-quality land resources. The main producers of agricultural products are large integrated formations, the share of production of which is 77% in the total structure of manufactured products. It was revealed that one of the factors stimulating the standard of living of the rural population is a decent level of their income, which confirms the value of the linear function of the level of wages in agriculture in the Lipetsk region R2=0.96. It was concluded that the intensification of the agro-industrial complex of the Lipetsk region in recent years has contributed to an increase in rural employment, the formation of financial stability of agricultural enterprises, the formation of the budgetary potential of rural areas, and an increase in the standard of living of the rural population of the region.
