The article considers control as a strategic tool of state-building based on modern scientific discourse. The formulation of the research problem is aimed at the form of objectification of the content of control, taking into account the national socio-cultural tradition and the relevant research methodology. The article substantiates the thesis that control as a strategic tool of state-building is an independent structural and functional tool with organizational and legal design, designed to solve state tasks. In conclusion, it is concluded that control as a strategic tool of state-building is multifunctional, it is a set of consistent actions aimed at implementing internal and external functions of the state, taking into account objective information obtained during control measures.
