the reasons for the objective need for structural modernization of the Russian economy and transformation of the formation of the policy of technological sovereignty are highlighted, approaches influencing the choice of strategic priorities of this modernization are highlighted, the features of the formation of the social system are analyzed, the views of foreign researchers on the experience of forming the middle class as a means of removing social contradictions in the process of globalization are outlined, the author's point of view on the issues under consideration is presented, conclusions are made and recommendations are given.
