LEGAL REGULATION OF PARLIAMENTARY CONTROL IN THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY

The article is devoted to the analysis of the legal regulation of parliamentary control in the Federal Republic of Germany. The study highlights the features of the creation and functioning of investigative committees of the Bundestag, as provided by the country's Basic Law. It examines the mechanism and powers of these committees, their interaction with state bodies and citizens, as well as their role in criminal proceedings. The procedure for expressing confidence in the Government and the Chancellor of Germany is described as an element of the preventive mechanism for political stability in the face of parliamentary criticism. The author analyzes the practical application of this mechanism and its influence on the effectiveness of the Government and Chancellor's work.
