INTERNATIONAL LAW AS A MECHANISM FOR MAINTAINING MORAL NORMS IN GLOBAL SOCIETY

The article examines the influence of moral norms on the formation of international law aimed at preserving global order and strengthening international stability. Special attention is given to the works of American political philosophers and theorists such as M. Walzer, H. Shue, J. Rawls, and A. Buchanan, whose contributions have significantly influenced the understanding of international law in the context of moral norms. The issue of manipulating moral norms to serve the interests of individual states is highlighted. The importance of education is identified as a tool to prevent the distortion of moral norms and to promote justice within the global community.
