FINANCIAL STABILITY OF CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES: CONTENT AND DEFINING ELEMENTS

The article analyzes the impact of the macroeconomic shock caused by the Covid-19 pandemic on the economic security of construction companies in the Russian Federation. The key threats and challenges faced by the construction industry under quarantine restrictions are considered: a decrease in construction volumes, an increase in the credit burden, an increase in the cost of building materials, a shortage of labor and a drop in demand for real estate. Attention is also paid to changes in legislation, the transition to escrow accounts, as well as government support measures, including mortgage subsidies and regulation of project financing rates. The article highlights the importance of adapting the construction industry to the "new reality" in a changing economic environment.
