Growing transformation processes reveal fundamental fault lines in the traditional value system, where local identities conflict with unified standards of international interaction. The fundamental challenge lies in rethinking the mechanisms of individual choice through the prism of multicultural reality, where classical national models of worldview are constantly changing under the influence of global communication flows. The system of value orientations of young people is not just a set of abstract attitudes, but a deep structure that determines the substantive orientation of the individual. It performs a system-forming function in the processes of socialization of the younger generation, acting as a kind of navigation tool for the interaction of the individual with social reality. The socio-cultural portrait of modern youth is highly dynamic, flexible and ready for constant changes.
Keywords:youth socialization, social institutions, socio-cultural portrait, stratification, society.
