Key indicators characterizing the global organic market in 2013-2023 and the BRICS-10 countries in 2020-2023 are observed in the dynamics. The outstripping development of the organic market in the BRICS-10 including the dynamics of organic agricultural land and the organic size market being compared with the global averages is demonstrated. Key indicators of the current state of the organic market in the BRICS-5, new BRICS members and BRICS-10 were compared with similar global averages in 2023. The basic factors influencing the rapid growth of the organic market in the BRICS over the last decade and the main reasons for the lag in the development level of the organic market of this interstate association in comparison with developed countries have been identified. The organic markets of the two leading economies of the BRICS (China and India) are investigated in detail, including the main characteristics of organic agriculture, organic wild collection, consumption of organic foods, and international trade (organic export). The main areas of government support in the Chinese and Indian organic markets are revealed. Final part of the article covers current and future areas of cooperation in the BRICS organic sector, including separate market components (production, consumption, trade), as well as the related institutional and intellectual and information initiatives.
