YOUTH SOCIALIZATION THROUGH THE PRISM OF STATE YOUTH POLICY

Youth, because of its passion, is the driving force behind the development of any society. In this regard the study of the mechanisms of socialization of the younger generation is of particular relevance. Effective youth policy, as a set of government measures aimed at creating conditions for successful socialization of young people, is a key factor in the formation of active citizens who are able to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country. The article examines the role of the state youth policy in the civic and political socialization of youth, as well as in developing the potential of youth and their successful social adaptation. The study developed recommendations for improving the mechanisms of the state youth policy implementation to increase the effectiveness of social adaptation of the younger generation, including the formation of a civic position, increased political activity and the development of value orientations. The article is of interest to a wide range of specialists, including sociologists, economists, political scientists, representatives of public authorities and local governments, as well as teachers and students studying youth issues and youth policy.
