ESTIMATION OF THE POTENTIAL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEASING RELATIONSHIPS IN THE TRANSPORT SECTOR OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The paper presents an assessment of the prospects for the development of leasing relations in the transport industry of the Russian Federation using the least squares method and the ARIMA model. An assessment of the significance of regressors affecting leasing in the transport industry allowed us to make a forecast for new leasing contracts up to 2030. The obtained values of the total volume of the leasing portfolio of vehicles show an increase of +9% in 2025 by 2024. In the following years, growth is expected to be at least +13% annually, despite the current constraints in the domestic economy.
