This work is devoted to the study of the features of criminal law provision of environmental safety and well-being in the Russian Federation and in the People's Republic of China. It is based not only on the provisions of domestic criminal legislation providing for liability for environmental offenses, the relevant explanations of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, but also on the Criminal Code of the People's Republic of China, official interpretations of the content and procedure for the application of criminal law norms in the field of environmental protection in China.; published materials of the judicial and investigative practice of China and the Russian Federation, monographic studies.
