INTERMEDIATE SOLUTIONS OF ENERGY TRANSITION IN THE CONCEPT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FOR RUSSIA: ECOLOGICAL AND ECONOMIC COMPONENTS»

Kukushin Nikolay Nikolaevich  (Moscow Automobile and Road State Technical University (MADI))

The relevance of the work is due to the fact that currently the priority concepts of economic development of both the Russian and global economies include sustainable development and non-energy exports, but there is no unambiguous understanding of the compliance and synergistic effect of the implementation of these concepts. The paper analyzes the essence of the concept of sustainable development and concludes that it is multifaceted. A detailed consideration of the statistical, analytical and forecast material made it possible to analyze the compliance of the vector of non-energy non-resource export development with the concept of sustainable development, producing an energy transition. It is concluded that these concepts are not intersecting and complementary. A synergistic effect from their implementation is possible if there are points of contact. Trends in export indicators are analyzed. The prospects for the development of the renewable energy sector are considered both in general and in terms of export opportunities. A conclusion is made about the continuing focus on raw materials and near-raw materials Russian exports. At the moment, the key task of non-resource non-energy exports is to diversify the Russian economy. The potential opportunities of high-tech export in the sphere of renewable energy sources are revealed, which allows to bring the export component of the Russian economy closer to the concept of sustainable development. It is concluded that the production and export of metals, while observing environmental parameters, is an "intermediate solution" for the energy transition, is a key sector of the economy in compliance with environmental standards, has high export potential and increases the potential of the global energy transition, having a synergistic effect.
