The article is devoted to the development of a methodological approach to assessing the effectiveness of the innovative development of the Russian electric power industry. In the context of technological sovereignty, depreciation of fixed assets and the need for digital transformation, it becomes critically important to form an objective and adapted assessment system. A multi-criteria model is proposed as a basis, covering economic, technological, social, environmental and managerial parameters. Particular attention is paid to the integration of ESG indicators and digital metrics into the assessment framework, which allows for the sustainability and digital maturity of energy companies. The methodology provides flexibility in choosing criteria and weights depending on the strategic goals of a particular enterprise and can also be applied at both the corporate and industry levels. The developed approach contributes to the systematization of the results of innovation activities and the formation of sound management decisions in the energy sector.
