PRODUCTION AND CIRCULATION OF MATERIALS OR OBJECTS WITH PORNOGRAPHIC IMAGES OF MINORS: CRIMINOLOGICAL AND CRIMINAL-LEGAL CHARACTERISTICS

The article provides a comprehensive criminological and criminal-legal analysis of crimes related to the production and circulation of materials or objects with pornographic images of minors. Particular attention is paid to the consideration of the social and legal nature of these acts, identifying their causes, conditions of commission, as well as the characteristic personality traits of criminals. The article describes modern trends in the development of criminal activity in the digital environment, provides a description of the objective and subjective signs of the crime provided for in Article 242.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, considers qualified compositions and features of punishment. The author focuses on the difficulties of law enforcement, the need to improve legislative and preventive measures, as well as the importance of interdepartmental cooperation for the effective detection, investigation and prevention of these crimes. A conclusion is made about the need for a systemic and interdisciplinary approach to combating the sexual exploitation of minors in the context of the digitalization of society.
