PROSPECTS FOR THE USE OF BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGIES IN THE FOREIGN TRADE LOGISTICS SYSTEM OF REGIONAL ECONOMIC SYSTEMS

The modern world system of economic interactions and international cooperation, operating within the conditions of sanctions pressure and fast-moving digital transformation, makes its own allowances to the architecture of international trade and the structure of regional economic systems, which aimed to respond quickly to sensitive changes and adapting to new technological and innovative solutions for effective development of foreign trade logistics business processes as well as to future growth of business activity of the regions and their businesses. One of these innovative solutions is considered to be blockchain technology, which can be successfully implemented in various areas of foreign economic relations of regional economic systems. This paper examines key concepts, describes the basic principles of operation, advantages and disadvantages of implementing blockchain technologies in the foreign trade logistics system as one of the tools for foreign economic cooperation and achieving technological sovereignty. The problems and prospects for the development and application of blockchain technologies in the logistics system of foreign trade at the regional level have been identified.
