THE PHENOMENON OF OPTION TRANSACTIONS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL RELATIONS

The article analyzes the phenomenon of option transactions, which occurs naturally as a way to solve the problems of stock trading. Despite the different chronological and geographical frameworks, the practice of applying option contracts in any State was subject to certain objective patterns. The analysis carried out in the course of the study allows us to identify a number of periods during which approaches to understanding the essence and direction of the application of these transactions are being transformed. As a result of the research, it is concluded that option agreements are an objectively existing economic and legal phenomenon that is beyond the knowledge of society. On the contrary, certain public perceptions about the nature and purpose of these transactions have been in continuous development since their inception, influenced by various geopolitical, economic, scientific, social and other factors. As a result, it is expected that new promising areas for the application of option agreements will arise in the near future.
