As a result of the studies, the prospects of using xylotrophic basidiomycetes in the rational use of plant waste of a substrate with a lignocellulosic structure have been shown. Established that with their help, huge amount of plant waste, formed every year, can be transformed into rich biologically active substances (starch, vitamins, lipids and etc.) non-toxic products and supplies can use based on the principle “low-waste or no waste” at a particular stage technology.

Keywords:Plant waste, bioconversion, fungi, various products.
