Indicators of effectiveness of psychotherapy in the treatment of patients suffering from alcoholism

The article examines the effectiveness of psychotherapy for the treatment of patients suffering from alcoholism. For the study, 95 patients were selected who received treatment at the Ivanovo State Narcological Dispensary, who suffer from alcohol dependence and who have symptoms of depression and anxiety. Various test methods and individual interviews were used to identify the symptoms of depression and anxiety. In the work a correlation is made between alcohol dependence and depression, and positive dynamics is revealed in the course of psychotherapeutic work.
