The article discusses the diagnostic and prognostic significance of microsatellite instability in patients with cancer of the corpus uteri. Particular attention paid to the assessment of the current state of the problem of histological and molecular diagnostics in the treatment and prognosis of the risk of recurrence in patients with cancer of the corpus uteri. The article analyzes the recent research on the pathogenetic justification of the diagnostic and prognostic significance of microsatellite instability. The authors of the article substantiate the need to create molecular classification as an addition to the existing histopathological classification cancer of the corpus uteri.
