Brain damage in diseases of the blood

651 patients with various blood diseases were examined. It was found that most often brain damage is detected in acute leukemia in the form of neuroleukemia. In acute and chronic leukemia, hemorrhagic strokes are observed. With polycythemia vera, ischemic strokes and chronic brain ischemia develop.
