The study of the fauna of Ciliata of the digestive tract of wild ruminant artiodactyls and their ecological and biological features is extremely important, because these Ciliata play an essential role in the processes of digestion and utilization of cellulose. It is known that normal digestion contributes to the growth and development of healthy animals, and since all wild ruminant species are either protected or commercial animals, the importance of their research is also clear. This work contains original data on the Ciliatе composition of the rumen of moose in Omsk and Chelyabinsk regions. A spectual composition and comparative characteristics of Ciliatе fauna of the rumen of moose from different populations.
