The influence of hygiene of nutricion on the calcium content in oral liquid of children aged 11–16 years

Object: Study of character impact assessment of diet, standard of knowledge about oral cavity hygiene and the concentration of calcium in oral liquid of the dental status of the teens aged 11-16 years. Methods: Oral liquid was collected for research of concentration of calcium in it, questioning teenagers was held and dental status was searched of children aged 11-16 years. Findings: Analyzing data from test about diet and assessment of knowledge about oral cavity hygiene questions, next data was obtained. All examined children have calcium level in oral liquid within normal limits (2,3-2,6 mmol/l). Searching diet most of the children observe three meals a day and most of them evaluate the qualitative and quantitative composition of food positively. Main food composition is predominantly carbohydrate. Conclusion: Biochemical analysis of oral liquid showed than children will have high risk of caries with insufficient hygiene skills and rational diet what requires an approach to conduct dental preventive measures.
