The article is devoted to modern approaches to the treatment and prevention of complications of atrial fibrillation in patients with concomitant heart disease. The article discusses the theoretical and methodological aspects of atrial fibrillation, analyzes the main methods of treating patients with atrial fibrillation; domestic and foreign experience in the treatment and prevention of complications of atrial fibrillation in patients was investigated.
