When conducting forensic DNA analysis, one of the steps is to extract DNA from materials submitted for examination. The success of all subsequent stages of DNA research depends on the quality of the execution of this procedure. When choosing a method, it is necessary to take into account a number of factors: the type of object, its state, the duration of its formation and storage conditions, therefore, research and analysis of modern methods for extracting DNA from various biological objects are of particular relevance. The paper presents an analysis and comparison of modern methods for extracting DNA from human bone tissue of human remains and the possibility of their use in forensic DNA analysis.

Keywords:DNA analysis, nucleic acids, extraction methods, bone tissue, forensic examination.
