Project conception of audio products in Audacity® software environment using Nyquist language

The problems of designing audio products in the free Audacity® software environment are considered. The approaches to solution of common and some specific problems arising when design and engineering of audio content by object-oriented and software methods are stated systematically. Technical analysis of major software components and modules intended for carrying out the simulated computer-aided audio material’s design is performed on the basis of the author’s engineering practice in the area of computer design. For more precise management of audio process operations special attention is paid to terminal capabilities of the program. Case studies and scenario features of built-in Nyquist programming language serving as a demonstration basis for the simulation approach to computer-aided design of audio products are presented and analyzed.
