Diagnostic features of acute coronary syndrome in elderly patients

The article is devoted to the difficult issues of diagnosing acute coronary syndrome in elderly and senile patients. The atypical forms of acute coronary syndrome, high rates of comorbidity, the presence of geriatric syndromes in patients of the older age group lead to late access to medical care, untimely diagnosis of the disease, late hospitalization, worsen the course and prognosis of the disease. A multidisciplinary approach is required for the early diagnosis of acute coronary syndrome in patients with geriatric profile.
