Agent-based model as one of approaches to research the behavior of people when arising an extremely situation in an educational organization

This article describes the process of creating a model that simulates the behavior of people during evacuation in the event of an emergency. The object of the model selected doctor of Pedagogical Institute of Irkutsk state University, because in recent years, cases of occurrence of emergency situations in educational organizations (EO). In practice, most EO have not sufficiently developed the system of evacuation. Consequently, there is a need for more detailed elaboration. In the construction of this model, agent-based modeling is selected, because it takes into account not only the dynamics of the environment, but also the movement of each individual. Further, the article describes the stages of modeling. Also, the variables, parameters and functional dependencies used in the modeling process are described in detail. A comparative analysis of the software (AnyLogic and Arena) and based on the modeling objectives, justified the choice of simulation system AnyLogic. As a result of this article, a simulation model of the evacuation system in case of emergency for the first floor of the main building of the pedagogical Institute developed. Using this model, an experiment was conducted, the results of which are presented in the article.
