The effectiveness of fertility restoration in patients with infertility and endometrioid ovarian cysyts

Objective: the aim of this study was to improve treatment outcomes for patients with infertility associated with endometrioid ovarian cysts (EOC), based on the developed algorithm. Materials and methods: we examined 82 women with infertility and EOC. The algorithm for the diagnosis and treatment of infertility associated with EOC was developed, based on the literature data and treatment experience. The effectiveness of the developed algorithm was evaluated. Patients were divided into 2 groups: 38 women from the 1st group received standard diagnostic and treatment services, while 44 patients from the 2nd group were diagnosed and treated according to the algorithm. Ppregnancy rates in the two groups were compared. Results: this study reported that pregnancy rate in patients diagnosed and treated according to the developed algorithm was 1.85 times (70%) higher compared to the standard diagnostic and treatment services. The spontaneous pregnancy rate was 1.63 times higher as well. Conclusion: we have demonstrated the clinical effectiveness of the developed algorithm software, which was enabled to automate the process of diagnosis and treatment of patients with EOC, to shorten decision-making process, and to predict outcomes of infertility treatment.
