The Russian Federation accounts for about 60,000 patients with this pathology, there is a tendency for the growth of this disease. An advantage in the diagnosis and staging of lung cancer is radiation diagnostic methods. Based on 1998 meta-analyzes, regarding the patient’s quality of life, the prognosis and tactics of treatment for NSCLC are directly dependent on the accuracy and timeliness of identifying this disease. Modern practical recommendations, treatment of patients with NSCLC, do not include the possibilities of modern radiation therapy. There is a review of existing treatment standards, which various authors focus on. Clinical radiology is rapidly developing. Modern technology and the effectiveness of radiotherapy, brings with it a decrease in the total radiation load on the body. Based on the foregoing, the quality of postoperative local control is growing, which, in turn, contributes to an increase in overall and without relapse survival.
