The incidence of postoperative complications in LSG according to the literature review

Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LRG) is a rapidly gaining popularity bariatric surgery. However, there are many issues related to early and late complications that require detailed consideration. Objectives: to determine the incidence of early and late postoperative complications and possible side effects. Materials and methods: information was searched in Russian and English without time limits in the electronic database PubMed, search in the GoogleScholar system, Cyberleninka and in the literature lists of relevant studies and reviews. Full-text articles were selected that described early and late complications after LSG. Results: 630 articles were identified in this literature review. After their selection according to the criteria for including and removing duplicate articles, the total number was 26.
