Cytogenetic status of cement plant workers

The analysis of karyological parameters in the cells of the buccal epithelium of workers of a cement plant is carried out. An increase in the proportion of cells with cytogenetic disorders and indicators of early nuclear destruction was revealed, indicating a mutagenic effect of cement dust and an increase in the rate of renewal of epithelial cells.
