Multichannel optical control system for geometric parameters of briquetted charge material

The issue considered in this paper is related to the problem of quality control of briquetted metallurgical materials by volume-weight method. The article discusses and evaluates possible options for implementing contactless size control by a multi-channel system based on optical distance sensors. An analytical assessment of the accuracy is carried out taking into account the characteristics of modern technical means. The analysis of factors affecting the accuracy of measurements for each of the methods is carried out.
