Acute Respiratory Failure Syndrome is a medical emergency that can complicate any disease and is characterized by widespread prevalence and high mortality rates worldwide. In clinical practice, there are patients with acute respiratory failure caused by thyroid-associated compression syndrome. The article presents a clinical observation of successful surgical treatment of large diffuse-nodular goiter in the setting of Acute Respiratory Failure Syndrome.
