Method for determining the type of growth of the facial skeleton

To determine the type of growth of the facial skeleton, various techniques are used that do not fully reflect the height-depth structure of the facial skeleton. The aim of the study was to develop a method for determining the type of growth of the facial skeleton. The developed average total index for determining the type of growth of the facial skeleton makes it possible to assess not only the type of growth of the facial skeleton, but also its tendency towards vertical and horizontal types. In addition, the derived coefficients make it possible to calculate the growth type formula on a three-dimensional model of the facial skeleton.
