Biology of smooth bronze Protaetia speciosissima (Scopoli, 1786)

The work considers localization issues and some features of the biology of smooth bronze (Protaetia speciosissima (Scopoli, 1786) in the Republic of Tatarstan. This species is included in the Red Book of the Republic of Tatarstan (2016), in the Red Book of Russia, the regional Red Books of Russia and the Red Book of the IUCN (IUCN Red List of Threatened Animals), and therefore requires close attention and study as an important element of the biodiversity of the entomofauna of the Russian Federation.
